Monk

Post by barrie » Thu Oct 23, 2008 12:36 pm

I shaved my head,
and wore a saffron robe.
The floor still felt cold
After letting go of branches and walking through the ape gait, we managed to grasp what hands were really for......

Then take off the robe
walk nakedly on its warmth,
hang out in the pews.
to anticipate touching what is unseen seems far more interesting than seeing what the hand can not touch

Then best we make some
from the railings of that bridge

It's not that it's my feet
that freeze
on paving slabs and tiles,
I'm afraid
this meditation lark
might just give me piles.
