I've sort of become a regular piece of furniture at the International Times; mostly with photos.
And now a poem too, "The Commander" --- to go with the picture.

Poem in International Times
Everything looks better by candlelight. Everything sounds more plausible on the shortwave.
Re: Poem in International Times
Excellento, Jane O' International Times!
I especially liked:
"All night, under the naked stars, she keeps vigil
while the fairies rehearse the names she gave them,
and the tiger growls gently in his sleep."
I wonder what names she gave the fairies?

Hi Seth, buckets of thanks for noticing!
what names ... ? I dunno; they're probably top-secret.

I see it is a continuation of the tale of the mysterious Zogarians..

Lovely, Jane. Not a self-portrait, is it? I suspect you're even more formidable - or, as the French say, formidable - than she is.

Hi Seth, thanks for coming back to it! - Yes, I do have a few yarns about the mysterious country Zogairysk and the Zogairy people.
I like to invent places (such as Bijavidez, and Astatine town).
Hi David, thanks for looking in on this! It's definitely no self-portrait. I'm not quite sure if formidable is the right word (in any language), either.
But there is a certain (...whatchamacallit...) comparability.
